Dear Swain for Delegate Supporter,
Yesterday, our campaign earned the endorsment of the AFSCME Council 67 of Maryland. AFSCME is the nation’s largest and fastest growing public services employees union with more than 1.6 million working and retired members. AFSCME’s... members are nurses, corrections officers, child care providers, EMTs, sanitation workers and more. As your Delegate, I have advocated for fairness in the workplace, excellence in public services and prosperity and opportunity for all working families.
Recently, our campaign earned two endorsements from the SEIU Maryland and Casa De Maryland. SEIU Maryland represents 45,000 security officers, healthcare workers, educators, childcare providers, caregivers, and public employees. Casa De Maryland advocates for equal treatment and full access to resources and opportunities for low-income Latinos and their families.
I am honored to receive their endorsements and I look forward to continuing to fight for social and economic justice on behalf of the residents of the 24th Legislative District, Prince George's County and the state of Maryland. As your Delegate, I will continue to be a champion of laws and policies that support safe, green, clean and thriving communities and enhance the quality of life for all.
With your continued help, I look forward to advocating and fighting for children, families and the hard working people of the 24th Legislative District. We are less than two months away from the June 24th primary election and still have hundreds of doors to knock and calls to make to reach out to voters.
